The Penticton Centre for Exceptional Learning (Penticton EXCEL) is in the process of relocating to 267 Martin Street, a 6,000 sq ft building in downtown Penticton. The same calming blue hues, artwork sourced from autistic artists, live plants, soothing light-covers and sound-absorbing materials will be used to help to ensure our centre is as sensory-sensitive as our former site on Skaha Lake Road.
 
Each cohort of 2-5 students is instructed in one of seven private learning spaces with multiple seating and workspace options (height-adjustable desks, wiggle seats, ball chairs, fidgets, exercise bands, etc.). Supported group work and social competency skill building take place in our open learning areas.  "Sensory" rooms, a gym with a lateral climbing wall, exercise equipment, a "Bubble Bath" room (a small ball pit with clear balls), and quiet spaces are available to help students self-regulate.
